About
Unravelling the Mind
My name is Carley Moore. I was born in Athens, GA, and attended UGA for both my BA and my MSW. I am open about my identity as a person in long-term recovery from substance use disorder. Since 2017, I have used my own sobriety as a tool to reach out and help others. As an LMSW-level counselor under clinical supervision since 2023, I pride myself on integrating the evidence-based practices I learned in my ongoing education with my own experience, strength, and hope.
In addition to in-office and virtual counseling services, I also offer a unique service to help those dealing with shame and overwhelm relating to the accumulation of material items and cluttered spaces. I offer support that is based on cognitive restructuring, accountability, motivation, sustainability, and sweat equity. Please reach out for a more in-depth description of these services!
